The legal voters of Royalton Fire District No. 1, Vermont are hereby notified and warned to meet at the Royalton Academy Building, 4182 VT Rt 14., South Royalton, Vermont on Monday, March 16, 2020 between the hours of nine o’clock (9:00) in the forenoon (a.m.), at which time the polls will open, and seven o’clock (7:00) in the afternoon (p.m.), at which time the polls will close, to vote by Australian ballot upon the following Article of business:
Shall general obligation bonds or notes of Royalton Fire District No. 1 in amount not to exceed Two Million Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,950,000), subject to reduction from available state and federal construction grants-in-aid and other financial assistance, be issued for the purpose of reconstructing, rehabilitating and repairing the District’s water treatment plant, such improvements estimated to cost Two Million Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,950,000)?
The legal voters and residents of Royalton Fire District No. 1 are further warned and notified that an informational hearing will be held at The Royalton Academy Building, 4812 Vt Rt 14, in South Royalton on March 13, 2020, commencing at seven o’clock (p.m.) for the purpose of explaining the subject proposed water system improvements and the financing thereof.
